Shipping
At Timber Ranch Logworks, our goal is to make shipping log furniture as easy and cost-effective for you as possible. We offer FREE SHIPPING to 48 states on all orders over $149, and we work hard to find the fastest and safest way to get that furniture right to front door of even the remotest cabin.
Our free shipping includes "curbside delivery". This means the driver will pull up to the closest curb by your house. According to the shipping agreement, the driver is NOT required to lift your delivery from the truck nor carry your delivery into your house, however many drivers will assist in unloading and bring your furniture into your house if you tip them. If your item is heavy, we recommend that you plan to have at least 2 strong people to assist with unloading and the optional lift gate delivery service, which means the truck will be equipped with a lift to lower your items from the truck to the ground.
We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada - we cover the cost to the nearest port or US border and then charge an incremental fee for the remaining transport.
Delivery Time
Unfinished Log Furniture: We keep most of our rustic furniture in stock, and most of our unfinished furniture ships within 2-5 days of receiving your order. Add 3-10 days for delivery, and most unfinished furniture will arrive within 5-15 days from the time you place your order.
Finished or Custom Log Furniture: Please allow 1-2 weeks longer for delivery of finished log furniture and cabin decor and 2-4 weeks extra for custom pieces.
Windows of Time
Many customers ask us to “hit” a certain window when they will be at their cabin or hideaway, and actually, we have gotten pretty good at doing just that. If you can give us a 3-4 day window of delivery opportunity, we can generally time the shipment of your log furniture and arrange with the carrier to have it delivered within the time you require. The 3-4 days must be business / working days for the trucking companies (Holidays and weekends don't count).
UPS and FedEx
For smaller lodge decor furniture items, we often ship by UPS or FedEx. We use several different carriers for items that ship by truck. Shipping times vary, depending on where you are located, but average from 3-10 days from the time we ship your item. If your item is currently not in stock or special order, count on 20-30 days. If you are in a hurry for your order or need to receive your item within a certain delivery window, please call and we can tell you whether we can meet your timetable or not.
Shipments by Semi-Truck
If your log furniture is sent by truck, the trucking company will call the day before to set-up a delivery time. If you have ordered large items, you will need at least one person to help the trucker unload.
As you can imagine, most trucking companies do not send two truckers with each load. This would greatly increase the costs. If you cannot help or arrange for help to unload your furniture, we may be able to make special arrangements with the trucking company, but there will probably be an extra charge. Also, please note that curbside motor freight service does not include unpacking the furniture, furniture placement, assembly, or removal of packing material. In some cases, however, curbside motor freight delivery can be upgraded to include inside delivery for an additional charge.
Generally speaking, dressers, chests, canopy beds, and king-size low post beds are sent by truck. Low post twin, full and queen size beds, together with night stands and smaller items, can go by FedEx or UPS. If you have questions about delivery, please give us a call. Also, if you have a winding, mountainous or snowy drive that no large truck could get into, please notify us of that in the beginning and we will see what we can do.
If your log furniture is delivered by an 18-wheeler (freight truck), as most of our larger orders are, and your cabin is at the top of a mountain with switchbacks on the way up (e.g. semi-trucks cannot get up there), please let us know from the start of your order. Our free shipping option includes normal delivery by an 18-wheeler. If you need a smaller truck to get the furniture up a mountain or into another remote area, you will need to either make the arrangements for that end of the delivery or cover whatever charge is incurred for hiring a smaller truck to deliver the furniture. Also, if you are in a gated community or one with special restrictions, please let us know at the time of your order.
Tracking Numbers
When your order leaves our warehouse, we will notify you of the tracking number and method of shipment (as soon as we receive them from our shipping department). If your order is shipped via freight truck or semi, the delivery is usually “curb side” delivery. This means that the driver will get as close as he safely can to your home and unload the furniture there. Ideally, more than one person will be on hand to help you carry the log furniture into your home. Most truck drivers will not carry the furniture into your house, so you need to plan for that eventuality.

We offer a manufacturer's lifetime warranty on all of our handcrafted cedar, aspen, and pine furniture, and 1-5 year warranties on every other line When you buy from Timber Ranch Logworks, you can be sure that your log furniture will only appear rustic. The drawers on your dressers will open and close smoothly without binding. The bed frames will be solid and tight. The doors will work well and fit smoothly. We make every attempt to finish your furniture so you can enjoy it without any problems or maintenance. Log furniture characteristics not deemed as defective are cracks, knots, checking and variations in color. All of these add to the rustic appeal of the furniture. If cracks compromise the structural integrity of the piece we will replace it free of charge. The bottom line is, we want you to be happy with your log furniture. Cancellations and Returns Policy
The process begins as soon as your order is placed. In most cases, your furniture or accessory is being constructed specifically for you. Generally, we are not able to accept cancellations or returns. We may, however, at our discretion make an exception to this policy. If you wish to request a change to your order, please call us as soon as possible. If you wish to return delivered items, you must call us at 214-699-7114 within 7 days after receiving them for return instructions. Items must be in original purchase condition for a refund, minus shipping charges in both directions and a 20% re-stock fee. Please re-package merchandise with care as you will be responsible for shipping damage that occurs during a return.
Sales Tax
Timber Ranch Logworks collects sales tax only on orders shipped to Texas.
